This post is sponsored by Baby Patent . However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
Babies thrive on consistency and knowing what is coming next. I’ve always had Noah on a schedule and Jonah is no different. A lot of you guys ask how I got Jonah to sleep through the night, and although there are more factors to it, I do think establishing a bedtime routine is KEY.
I would like to think I’m good with schedules. But who am I kidding I’m just lucky to have a calm baby. Jonah is sleeping through the night and has been doing so since about nine weeks old. Now, not even Noah slept through the night this early. I’m not a stickler about schedules, but I do follow one (or try my best to). My biggest tip is to have a bedtime routine for your baby.
Today I am collaborating with Baby Patent to share with you our baby bedtime routine with Jonah.
First, let’s talk about the Aqua Scale. I mean HOW cute does Jonah look in that tub? He looks comfortable and safe and that’s exactly what we were looking for.
Extra points for this bathtub is that features a digital thermometer that tells you the temperature of the water! The design of the tub was created in a ergonomic shape to keep babies in the right position preventing accidents with their anti-slip feature. This bathtub features a scale as well, it weighs the baby and gives you and accurate number. How cool is that?!
Now let’s talk about our baby bedtime routine. Here is what we do every night starting at 7:30. Jonah gets a bath every night. It’s cold as heck here in NY. A nice warm bath is a FOR SURE way to calm down anybody, and that applies especially to a baby.
•Try using aromatherapy and add some lavender to bath time •Massage time, my little man gets a massage. I use the Noodle & Boo lotion. This is the time that I take to talk to him, sing to him, or just soak up those baby brown eyes.
•Read a book! We try to read a book before bedtime almost every night; we also try to include Noah to make it a family pastime. •Feeding time. Once the Noah say goodnight and give his hugs and kisses, we will feed Jonah (I say we because Timothy and I will take turns). •Swaddle and lights out! Once feeding time is over, I swaddle him (he only gets swaddles at night, and not everyday) and put him in bed.
I have to confess, I’m obsessed with Carter’s lately. I scored this awesome wilderness pajama on Black Friday and I can’t get over it. Jonah looks adorable on it. Side note- I may have taught him “What Does the Fox Say” song. What I love the most about this pajamas? They have snap closures from neck to ankle.
Easy enough right? Find a baby bedtime routine that works for you and your family and stick to it, I pinky promise it will pay off in the long run. Thank you so much for stopping by, ♥️
