Was That A Contraction? | BloomLife Review

*Disclaimer - BloomLife sent this product so I can review this item. However ALL opinions and photos are my own.*

As I come each day closer to meet my littlest little, I can’t help but feel anxious. I remember clearly I knew the difference between Braxton Hicks from the real deal contractions. This time around they feel completely the same... that’s why I’ve team up with BLOOMLIFE and find out what’s going on in there.

Bloomlife is a sensor system that connects via Bluetooth to your phone (android or IOS). The starter kit comes with:

•5 reusable sensor patches (each can be reused for at least 6-7 days).

•Charger.

•Bloomlife Sensor.

Setting up is very simple. You download an app to your phone and charge the Bloom device. Once charged, the device synchronize into a patch and you attach to your belly centered with your belly button (about three fingers width down).

After a few minutes of calibration, the sensor starts recording data straight to the app on your phone. It records all contractions and gives you an average interval and duration count at the end of each session.

How you can tell the difference between Braxton Hicks and a contraction? Super easy! Braxton Hicks aren’t frequent and they cause some discomfort. Contractions usually follow a frequency and and sharp pain as they get close to each other.

In the past weeks, I’ve been doing a nightly one hour session just before going to sleep. It was so cool to see a few contractions on the app and track the frequency, duration and increasing lightly each night.

Most women don’t realize that contractions, even small ones, can start days and sometimes months before active labor. These help your body practice and prepare for the real deal.

Using Bloomlife has helped me to know that I am not crazy! I’m constantly asking myself “ Is labor time? “. Not I can be more relax because It shows in the app when I’m having a contraction (in a darker green tone).

Ps: This is NOT a medical accessory. Any concerns you may have don’t hesitate and ask your doctor .

Hope you enjoyed the reading!

Xoxo.
